Hello everyone!
It's time to get excited! Phones are ringing. T-shirts are being ordered. Donations are being made. That means that planning is underway for the
2nd Annual Springtown Spin!
For those of you who don't know, the
Springtown Spin is an annual fundraiser in the form of a bike rally and fun ride that benefits
Tarrant County Youth Collaboration, a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization that works to eliminate child abuse and neglect due to social isolation.
Last year, in 2008, we had nearly 100 cyclists ride in our rally, and this year our numbers are growing. We're expecting 500 participants to ride in the 2009
Springtown Spin. That's over 5 times the number we had last year!
This year's event is going to be bigger and better than ever. We're going to have a raffle with some great prizes,
goodie-bags for all of our riders, and a fantastic lunch.
Registration is $25 for
pre-registration and $30 the day of the rally. The rally will begin at 9:00 a.m. at
Springtown High School (915 West Hwy. 199,
Springtown, TX 76082). You can register online at
www.tcyc4kids.org or at the event. For more information, visit our website or call (817) 496-6099.
Mark your calendars for
October 24, 2009, and come on out to
Springtown, TX for a day of fun!
